Finnish printing houses after a double jackpot

Finnish packaging printers RKW Finland Ltd and Pa-Hu Ltd, together with the packaging prepress house Marvaco Ltd, have achieved highly rated rankings in finals with four different designs in two international competitions.In Bolton, England, at the EFIA Print Awards finals, to be held in March, RKW Finland Ltd is included with printed KOFF LITE -packaging film for Sinebrychoff Ltd. This printing implements Marvaco’s new Full HD technology. The other entry, Pa-Hu Ltd participates with the HAU HAU Champion brand, with pallet band printing, which was also awarded as the best of its category, last autumn, at Flexo Tech Awards, England.
In Baltimore, USA, at the FTA Excellence in Flexography Award competition, to be held in April, attending the awards ceremony, RKW Finland participates with Carlsberg’s FALCON BBQ –package design, which is also implementing Marvaco’s new Full HD technology. The other entry, Pa-Hu Ltd is participating with PrimaCat carton printing for Prima Pet Premium Ltd, utilising also HD –technology.
Marvaco has made the repro and printing plates for the prints. Marvaco is a pioneer in customer-tailored and quality enhancing solutions. In both competitions, were entered a considerable number of international print jobs. Making it to the Finals and reaching the podium is an achievement, as the entries have gone through a rigorous review of the jury. The Finalists are required for technical pioneering and high quality in several aspects.
The common factor, with KOFF LITE and HAU HAU Champion, jobs is an impressive and exceptionally efficient implementation of only three CMY colors, while equivalent work is normally carried out with more colors. All the jobs consists impressive and contrast -rich designs, demanding execution, flawless register accuracy. Also required, is a high level of professional skills among all parties, discloses Tapio Alanko, customer service manager at Marvaco.
